The largest settlement in the Municipality of Grosuplje is Grosuplje with 7,549 inhabitants. With 1.512 residents Šmarje-Sap falls into second place. The third largest is Brezje pri Grosupljem, which counts 990 inhabitants. More than 500 residents also have the following settlements: Polica, Ponova vas, Spodnja Slivnica and Veliko Mlačevo.
